DAY ONE: GRANT READINESS & GRANT SEEKING
Participants will
1- Organize agency documents for rapid RFP response
2- Find appropriate RFP listings and sign up for list serves
3- Identify and vet prospective funders
4- Create and organize an annual strategic grant writing plan
DAY TWO: GRANT WRITING & GRANT MANAGEMENT
Participants will
5- Create a compelling and consistent grant proposal identified on day one &/or
6- Create a general grant proposal for tailoring to multiple funders
7- Create a grant submissions tracking sheet to track submissions successes.
You will leave the training with your grant documents organized, a list of vetted sources and applications on an annual calendar/plan, and a grant proposal nearly completed.
This training is appropriate for beginner and up; you work on your own funding priorities and at your own skill level.
The training as it is hands-on and computer-based. There will be an assignment sent out prior to the workshop to help you get the most out of the two days. A lap-top or Macbook and a flash drive are required.
Both the workshop and the trainers are certified by the Grant Professionals Association, and this training qualifies for CFRE credits. GDS is a member of the American Grant Writer's Association.
