do you work with children directly?
It's my mission to reduce toxic stress and increase joy for children by helping to enhance the environments they live in. Children who have undergone trauma that cannot be addressed adequately by the family may need individual therapy. I would be happy to provide a referral for such cases.
Can children join the classes?
If your baby is nursing, yes. Otherwise, the space is not childproof, and our work together needs as few distractions as possible.
What are horizontal relationships?
These are relationships where everyone is treated with mutual respect. The tone you use with your child, as well as your choice of words are the same tone and words that you would welcome from your child. Horizontal relationships are a societal trend, and most children with sensory issues and trauma require them for harmony in their relationships.
